NEW Momentum Bike Park - Joplin, MO
Exciting news from Joplin!
The new Momentum Bike Park at the Dover Outdoor Recreation Area (“DORA”) is almost ready. It will be Missouri’s largest municipal bike park, featuring 10 miles of mountain bike trails and over 132,000 sq ft of built bike park elements.
Council Bluff “Burnin’ the Bluff” Race
Here are the key details for Burnin at the Bluff 3 hour, 6 hour and 12 HOUR options
Date: September 13, 2025
Start times:
• 12-hour Solo & 12-hour Team — 10:00 AM
• 6-hour Solo & Team — 10:00 AM
• 3-hour Solo — 10:15 AM
Venue: Council Bluff Lake, Missouri
Trail: 11.5‐mile Lake Shore Trail — mostly singletrack around the lake, with a gravel section and an old roadbed in parts.
The INCINERATOR

The Incinerator is a bike race & fundraiser on September 27, 2025 at Route 66 State Park, Eureka, Missouri. What makes it unique: it’s held on a ~3-mile loop that mixes asphalt, gravel, grass and “a few surprises,” and allows any bike type (mountain, gravel, cyclocross). All proceeds benefit the Eureka Wildcats Mountain Bike Team (grades 6-12). There are three race levels (C – beginner/fun, B – more experienced, A – competitive) varying in duration (40-55 minutes of as many laps as possible). Registration ends Sept 26; preregistered riders by Sept 16 get a free T-shirt.
Big BAM -Ride the Katy Trail
Have you ever wanted to ride the entire Katy Trail? Well now is your chance! TheBig BAM on the Katy is a supported multi-day bike ride across portions of Missouri along the Katy Trail.

Do some of it, most of it, or all of it!
Fully supported with lodging or camping, luggage transfers, showers, on-route support .
E-bikes allowed, bike rentals offered.
Flexible durations: ride one day, three days, or the full six days.
Scenic setting: farmland, wildflower meadows, forests, small towns, Missouri River views, and historical sites including Native American pictographs.
Social & group friendly: discounts for groups, evening music & complimentary drinks.
Scheduled ride October 5-11. Cost varies around $300-450
NEW Mountain Bike Trail - Carondelet Park, Saint Louis

St. Louis has opened its first mountain-bike trail in the city: Federer’s Folly in Carondelet Park, South St. Louis. It’s about one mile of natural surface trail, made up of two loops plus a connector, with features like steep switchbacks, bumps, rocky sections and fast, flowy terrain. Built entirely by volunteers using private funding, it aims to give youth riders—especially the South City Otters team—a place closer to home to practice. The trailhead is located near Holly Hills Boulevard and Livingston Drive.

Bright Lights for Kids Ride - Lee’s Summit, MO

Here are the key details for The Ride by Bright Lights for Kids:
What it is & when
It’s a fundraising bike event happening Saturday, September 13, 2025.
100% of the money raised goes to the charity partner (Children’s Charity Partner) associated with Bright Lights.
Where the proceeds go
All funds raised by the event are donated fully to the charity partner.

10-Miler Ride – A short, more casual distance.
31-Mile / 50K (“Half Metric”) ‒ called the “Mayor Taylor” route.
Metric 100K (Grand Fondo) – just over 60 miles.
200K Ultra Ride – toughest endurance option, with thousands of feet of climbing.
1st Time Century – 100-mile ride for those aiming to hit the century milestone.
